ABOUT OUR PRICES

​We do our best to price our quality firewood fairly and competitively. We may not be the cheapest, but we are also not a fly by night company selling junk wood. We believe in the old adage, you get what you pay for. 

It is not cheap to bring firewood to market. First, we purchase huge semi truck loads of logs, which are expensive and come from up north. We then use commercial grade equipment including chainsaws, log splitter, storage and measuring racks, trucks, trailers and tractors. Those require fuel, oil, bar oil, hydraulic fluid, filters, chain sharpening, maintenance and repairs, etc. All that adds up quickly. Oh, and don't forget taxes and insurance. Then there is the labor aspect. Firewood is hard work and very time consuming. It is handled many times before it is sold.
